Growing in our Christian faith is a life-long process, nourished by the work of the Holy Spirit in Word and Sacrament.
The District is offering a number of resources to help Christians mature in the faith. Below are just a few examples.
Consecrated Stewards
is a program, offered in conjunction with the Lutheran Church-Extension Fund, to move God’s people to greater stewardship of thei financial gifts. Congregations that have used this program report a 15-30% growth in giving.
Youth Gatherings
held every three years, build community among our young people, help them identify with the church and, most importantly, grow in the Word of God.
Nurturing the Faith Conferences
host hundreds of professional Church workers in a day long conference to grow in the Word of God.
Older Adult Gatherings
are held annually to give an opportunity for Seniors to study God’s Word and to enjoy each other’s fellowship.
